This brand creation for Purely Organic eggs celebrates the simplicity of all things natural.
This was the first UK brand to carry the Climate Partner logo, therefore, I wanted the design to capture a purely natural way of doing things. I achieved this by creating a visual identity and illustration style that has actually been hand drawn. The brand name has been drawn in the shape of an egg to instantly communicate the product, also allowing for the word ‘organic’ to sit at the core of the design. I chose a neutral colour for the brand, accompanied with a rich green to connote the world of organic. My intention for the ‘under-designed’ approach was to create a humble presence on shelf and a sense of all round goodness: ‘Good for you, Good for Farms, Good for Hens.’ The design is signed off with a feather, as if to show the eggs have just been freshly laid and to drive home the all-natural message.
