This new range for Potts’ sauces, shakes up the cooking sauces category by ditching the pouch and embraces the sustainability and endless recyclability of the can.
The idea is that each sauce has its own unique illustration that celebrates the ethnicity of each flavour. To hold the range together, I developed the design so that the cans have a consistent central lock-up with the Potts’ logo at the core. The central lock-up borrows design cues from the core Potts’ range, to help with consumer brand recognition when introducing this new range of sauces to the Potts’ product portfolio. The design intention for this range is met by having several designers illustrate each flavour so that each sauce truly has its own distinct look. I illustrated the Mexican Enchilada and Fajita sauces, while other sauces in the range were illustrated by other designers. Therefore, this project is the product of true collaboration of creatives bringing their own take on this exciting range of flavours.
